Tabora Regional Commissioner Dr. Philemon Sengati addressing the public at Fatma Mwasa Stadium, Ipuli in Tabora Region at the official launch of the Nanenane Festival in the Western Region on 05.08.2020.

The Regional Commissioner was accompanied by administrative secretaries, defense committees, Tabora and Kigoma district commissioners, directors of all Tabora Councils and heads of government and private institutions.

The Regional Commissioner noted that 2020 is the year of the General Elections, so the theme of the Nanenane Exhibition is "For the development of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries select the best leaders for 2020" The theme encourages people to choose the best leaders who will be the catalyst for a revolution and development of agricultural sectors to enhance the livelihoods of farmers, pastoralists and fishermen. He added on choosing leaders with the aim of taking the economic to the next level. He was also impressed by all farmers in Tabora and Kigoma regions for their hard work in producing food crops and cash crops.
