The Tobacco Stakeholders Meeting was held on 17.08.2020. The main objective was to present feedback on various studies conducted in the 2019/20 financial year. Stakeholders in attendance were tobacco growers, tobacco buyers and tobacco researchers. The researchers presented the studies conducted and which are expected to take place in the upcoming 2020/2021 season. Farmers had the opportunity to explain their challenges in growing tobacco and to discuss with other stakeholders how these challenges can be solved.
