TORITA has received a training opportunity from the Anti-Corruption Commission (PCCB) earlier 10.11.2020.


TORITA has received a training opportunity from the Anti-Corruption Commission (PCCB) where they provided training to staff on the meaning of the PCCB, a brief history of PCCB, the meaning of corruption and several legal provisions describing different types of corruption. On top of that, the facilitator added by highlighting how to prevent corruption and dealing with anti-corruption in our daily working environment. The facilitator also described the effects of corruption as;

• GDP decline

• Impairing development plans

• Decreased accountability at work

• distrust of the government in power

• Increasing poverty in the State and many other effects that result from giving or receiving bribes

The facilitator also explained more about the role of employees and the ethics of employees as they are in their working environment including providing better services, maintaining government secrets, integrity and compliance with the laws and regulations of the country.
